Foundation of Bungard Elektronik in Leverkusen (BEL) by Heinz Bungard, the father of the current CEO Jürgen Bungard. Heinz Bungard started as a radio and TV repair shop. His business idea is to presensitize the PCBs with a foto-sensitive resist and thus overcome the complicating screen printing method.

The new Bungard research and development center Ltd.
In January 2014 Bungard Elektronik founded the new BUNGARD Research and Development Center and purchased in February a small construction company for customized machines in a close by location. This purchase enlarged the company with 2500 m² and the production and development area with 600m².
